Customers are requested to provide reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Jared Electronic reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to circumstances including weather, emergencies, technician availability, equipment availability or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Jared Electronic provides services in Durban and surrounding areas. Depending on the location and nature of the job, additional travel or call-out charges may apply. Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the customer where reasonably possible before work begins.
Jared Electronic provides installation, setup, fault-finding and related technical services for satellite and television equipment. Subscription fees, account fees, programming, content and services provided directly by television or satellite service providers remain the responsibility of the customer.
CCTV installations are carried out according to the agreed requirements of the customer and the practical conditions of the installation site. Camera positioning, recording duration, storage capacity, network performance and remote viewing may depend on the equipment, internet connection, infrastructure and configuration. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of surveillance equipment complies with applicable privacy and legal requirements.
Customers must disclose any known information regarding walls, ceilings, electrical wiring, plumbing or other infrastructure that may affect an installation. Jared Electronic will take reasonable care during installation; however, concealed or previously unknown structural, electrical or plumbing conditions may affect the installation and cannot always be identified before work begins.
Internet boosters, routers, access points and related equipment can improve network coverage and connectivity, but actual performance depends on factors including the customer's internet package, network infrastructure, building construction, interference, equipment and service-provider performance. Jared Electronic cannot guarantee a specific internet speed where the performance depends on third-party networks or services.
Customers are responsible for backing up important files and data before handing equipment over for repair. Jared Electronic will take reasonable care of customer equipment; however, data loss, hardware failure or complications caused by existing faults may occur during diagnostic or repair work.
Website development work is based on the agreed specifications, features and services discussed with the customer. Hosting, domain registration, third-party subscriptions, plugins, APIs, payment services and other external services may carry separate costs. Changes outside the originally agreed scope may require additional charges.
Where Jared Electronic supplies equipment, the customer will be informed of the applicable price and relevant product information. Where a customer supplies their own equipment, Jared Electronic is not responsible for defects, compatibility issues, previous damage or manufacturer faults relating to that equipment.
Any company names, trademarks, logos, product names or brand references displayed on this website belong to their respective owners.

Any workmanship warranty offered will apply only to the work specifically performed by Jared Electronic and will not automatically cover equipment failure, customer-supplied equipment, misuse, accidental damage, modifications by third parties or faults unrelated to the original work.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property or equipment where work is to be performed. The customer must inform Jared Electronic of known hazards, restrictions or conditions that may affect the safety of the technician.
Jared Electronic will take reasonable care when performing services. However, the company cannot accept responsibility for problems caused by pre-existing faults, concealed infrastructure, third-party services, customer misuse, unauthorised modifications or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Jared Electronic.
